For 2 trainees a 10% discount applies or for 3+ trainees a 15% discount applies.

Study method: Self-guided online learning over approximately 12 hours

Certification type: Letter of attainment. An electronic certificate is issued. A hard copy is available for $30 + GST (NZ only).

The successful completion of this programme can be used to apply for CPD (continuing professional development points) which is now fully accredited by the Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians Board of New Zealand. Verified here.

Our aim by the end of this online educational programme is for operators to be able to identify any gaps in their clinical knowledge, and what they need to do to improve on clinical practices to comply with Australian and NZ Safety Standards relating to Laser.

This programme curriculum contains generic Laser Science that can be applied to all types of Laser and IPL devices but has been collated to specifically apply to the Optometry Industry, with a focus on best practices in New Zealand, which can serve as minimum standards elsewhere, if required.
