This workshop is the next step after completing Laser & IPL Hair Removal Theory Online where you will be trained in how treatments work, assessing and managing clients, trouble shooting and how to work to industries highest standards. You will be able to put this comprehensive theory knowledge into practice and learn to correctly conduct and carry out all aspects of hair removal treatments, no matter which client presents for treatments. During both our online theory teachings and in class, you will learn more complex and advanced information for example: The phenomena of Light-Induced Hypertrichosis (LIH) and Paradoxical hair growth , why hair removal treatments don’t always live up to expectations, age of consent and considerations when treating younger persons and or transgender reassignment clients. Our teachings prepare you for all possiblitities you will likely face in the real world. It does not matter which device or technology you end up purcahsign or already have. eg: IPL or laser of any brand.

at our MINI MODS® laser tattoo removal 2-day practical workshop series event

NZLT Institute reccomends a minimum attendance of 2 days practical training to start conducting laser tattoo removal after commencement of intensive theory online studies.

Trainees then are most welcome to either book to have our roving trainer carry out an additional 1-2 days personlised training on your own laser in your clinic or tattoo studio.

Start your journey into hands on competency by attending this 2-day intensive and comprehensive practical workshop series with our qualified tutor where you will learn how to consult with clients who present with unwanted ink of any kind, on any skin type, discover tips on creating treatment plans, learn to perfect safe techniques, and gain hands-on experience and build your confidence with live models.

You will develop confidence to perform Laser Tattoo Removal on your own clients and do not need to own a laser before attending this workshop, however if you are looking to purchase a laser, we can advise and provide quotes for you on quality platforms.

Based on your experience at our previous theory programme, we look at how we know if a client has acne or rosacea by learning how to assess the skin, and discuss best treatment approaches based on their FP skin type. We will also look at diffuse redness, the cause and best approach on treating this and which technology would be best suited to the client and their FP skin type.

We will practice on live models IPL using various filters OR Nd:Yag 1064 using different techniques.
