MINI MODS® Level 1 - vascular / redness practical workshop
1 DAY WORKSHOP OVERVIEW
Building upon your experience from attending our previous skin rejuvenation theory programmes, you have the chance to continue your clinical assessment skills, using IPL Technology for low-risk vascular.
During this workshop, you will learn how to effectively use IPL and lower risk laser application to treat:
Mild acne / Rosacea
Skin redness / diffuse redness caused by a variety of conditions including vascular actinic bronzing
We focus on treating the face, neck, hands, and décolletage
NZLT offers the use of Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) and lower risk procedures with lasers for safety reasons, if you are seeking to learn how to use laser for face vein treatments and have already undertaken training in laser science, safety and treatment principles using Nd:Yag laser, please check out our Mini Mods - Level 2 Vascular Workshop.
After this workshop day, you will have gained confidence in assessing a clients skin for beginner level vascular / blood based treatments, you will feel more reassured and confident in your clinical approach for reddened skin conditions. Learn how to up-sell your existing treatments with new confidence and ensure you are working within your scope of practice with the correct skills you need to succeed as a laser technician. You will be made aware of the risks and be in a better position to make good decisions on behalf of your client’s skin rejuvenation goals.
PRE-REQUISITE:
You must have a full understanding of the required theory behind treatments and the settings used. this may have been obtained from us or elsewhere. Please contact our enrolment administrator to verify you meet the requirement to attend this practical workshop.
You do not need to own IPL or Laser technology prior to attending this workshop, please indicate to us if you are looking at devices as we can assist you with this.
CERTIFICATION:
You will obtain a letter of attainment and a certificate to show you have undertaken professional development with NZ’s leading and independent educators to add to your CV, and your laser career pathway.
